Antonio Pitagora

Antonio Pitagora was born in 1980 and raised in Crotone in Italy, right in the heart of the ancient Magna Grecia. Inspired by history and art, after scientific studies, he graduated in Art Direction and Visual Communication at IED in Rome.

Since 2002 he has collaborated with major fashion brands like Fendi, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana and Alberta Ferretti, first in Rome and then in Milan.

With a solid experience gained as a fashion designer - combined with a personal visual research - Antonio Pitagora created the brand AntPitagora in 2013, a unisex inspired collection with both a womenswear and a menswear collection. Original prints, techno street materials mixed with re-invented classic ones and contemporary shapes, make AntPitagora one of the names to watch for the next generation.

Concept

The AntPitagora collection is characterised by a sophisticated and contemporary streetwear vibe: graphics and pictures - made with photographic techniques and reworked by the designer – are printed and embroidered on unusual perforated materials such as tulle and techno-net or on cotton and fleece, with interesting 3D effects.

The graphic pictures of real metal-forged knockers, turned into Baroque decorations with a strong visual impact, has captured the attention of italian and

international retailers.
